Foam Concentrates

Chemguard supplies fire-fighting foam concentrates to meet a wide range of fire-fighting challenges, including industrial, marine, mining, municipal, oil, petrochemical, and transportation. Our aqueous film-forming foams (AFFFs), Class A foams, wetting agents, high-expansion foam concentrates, and protein foams are suitable for ground and air attack, creating firebreaks, use with compressed-air foam systems (CAFS), and mop-up operations.

Bladder Tanks

Chemguard foam system bladder tanks provide accurate, dependable, and cost-effective foam fire protection for a variety of flammable/combustible hazard areas, with no external power other than water pressure. Water is applied to the outside surface of the bladder, displacing foam concentrate inside the bladder, which then is injected into the water stream. Bladder tanks are components of balanced-pressure proportioning systems, which often are installed on helicopter decks and in small aircraft hangers, storage facilities, and warehouses. Chemguard UL Listed and FM Approved bladder tanks are available in vertical and vertical prepiped (25-4,500 gallons) and horizontal and horizontal prepiped (50-4,500 gallons) configurations.

Proportioners

Chemguard designs, engineers, and manufactures a broad line of state-of-the-art proportioning devices: line proportioners (eductors), ratio-flow controllers, and the trade proportioner. Rugged, high-quality, and proven, these devices accurately and dependably proportion foam and water in a variety of applications.

Hydraulic Concentrate Control Valves

The hydraulic concentrate control valve is FM Approved and designed for use in either a CHEMGUARD bladder tank system or an in-line balanced pressure proportioning system. The valve is used to automatically open the line supplying concentrate to the foam proportioner. The valve requires no electrical power. It operates solely by the pressure of the inlet water supply.

Mobile Foam Cart

Chemguard designed and manufactures a rugged and versatile 36-gallon mobile foam cart. Featuring a reinforced-fiberglass tank, the cart is compatible with any fire-fighting foam concentrate. The Chemguard cart includes a 95 gallons per minute in-line eductor, a 95 gallons per minute handline nozzle, and 50 feet of rubber-lined, single-jacket fire hose.

Water Powered Oscillating Monitors

Chemguard Water Powered Oscillating Monitors are designed to automatically discharge over a specific design area upon system activation. These are suitable for use in high risk areas such as tank farm facilities, aircraft hangars, offshore, refineries, chemical plants, and heliports.
